Review of the ProBlogger Book
Monday morning I made sure to head over to the bookstore and get my own copy of Darren Rowse and Chris Garrett’s “ProBlogger - Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income. I have to admit I was wary at first, figuring that a majority of the information in the book I probably could’ve gotten for free on the Internet, but I was sorely mistaken.
Review:
The ProBlogger book is great for both new bloggers and veterans.
Although, the first two chapters are only truly useful for those that are new (setting up the blog and recognizing a niche); it can be used by those already blogging to redesign and refocus their current site. The rest of the chapters opened up my eyes to new monetization and promotion methods. I hadn’t even though about indirect monetization or even knew what it meant until I read this book. The two experienced bloggers explore how to write for the Internet, and the final two chapters “Secrets of Successful Blogs” and “Creating Something Worthwhile” are information and inspiring. I really think you’re missing out if you don’t own this book.
