I just finished writing my third article for the day. It’s a great way to build link and maybe get some traffic. The more I do it, the more I question its validity as a SEO technique.
Search engines dislike when your site receives links from less than reputable websites. The inability to control where your articles are showing up, leads to links from these websites.
Think about it, the person most likely to use your article is someone too lazy to write up their own content.
My advice? Write articles and post them on your blog. Write articles and still submit them to article directories for your SERP ratings, but do not make article writing your highest priority. A good link bait campaign, and good content is so much more important.
