We just upgraded to WordPress 2.5 and all I can say is, “Wow!”. The changes are great, the dashboard is amazing, and it’s so intuitive. For those of you unsure if you should upgrade, I highly recommend it.
Upgrading to 2.5 is real easy and in-fact there’s a plugin to make it even easier. WordPress Automatic Upgrade makes upgrading your WordPress platform as easy as simply clicking the “Next” button. It creates a backup, puts up a maintenance page, and does the upgrade!
We’ve had no broken plugins and everything has been working easy. If you find any problems, let me know or leave a comment!

Shoemoney.com had a great review about “Life After 2.5 WordPress Upgrade“. He speaks about his threaded comments and a few changes they made to his comment plugin. I’d love to get my hands on it, and install it here! One of the things he was impressed by was the new Gravatar support; this is something that didn’t really excite me so much. Regardless, we both agree, that WordPress 2.5 is great!
